The Modeling and Simulation Branch (M&S) provides guidance and support for inclusion of simulation and modeling in an experiment pathway. Sometimes experiments can benefit from being simulated or modeled prior to live execution. In other instances, experiments--or portions thereof--can be completed using modeling and simulation alone. In addition, M&S carries out specific experiments on the use of simulation and how it can assist in training and execution of warfighting tasks.
