MARINE CORPS TRAINING AREA BELLOWS, Hawaii – A U.S. Navy corpsman diagnoses an injured Australian Defence Force soldier who simulated wounds during a raid on a military operations in urban terrain facility at Marine Corps Training Area Bellows, July 12, during Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) Exercise 2014. The corpsman used the Tactical Tele-Medicine (TTM) machine to assess the soldier’s condition and relayed information back to the command operations center. The TTM is part of the Marine Corps Advanced Warfighting Experiment, a culmination of progressive experiments designed to test potential future technologies, solutions and concepts to future Marine Air Ground Task Force challenges.
